‘Imlie’ actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan is one of the contestants on the reality show Bigg Boss 16. The actress has been making headlines ever since she appeared in the house and has been leaving no stone unturned to be seen in the house. Notably, some of the BB contestants like Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia have got big projects and now going by the latest buzz it is being said Sumbul has many TV shows offers including Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 7.
As per the latest reports, Ekta Kapoor during her appearance on Bigg Boss 16 dropped a major hint that she liked someone on the show to play the female lead in her show Naagin 7 and fans are speculating it is Sumbul. In a recent interview with Times of India, Sumbul’s father Touqeer Hasan Khan confirmed that his daughter has been receiving many offers for many fictional shows. He said, “Sumbul has received many offers for fiction shows. But only she can decide what she wants to do when she steps out of the Bigg Boss house. Right now, she is in the house and I am sure that she will reach the finale and hopefully win the trophy. After she comes back, she can decide what she wants to do.” ALSO READ: WHAT! The actress’ father also rubbished the reports of Sumbul being finalized for Naagin 7 and said it is just a rumour. “All these reports about contestants being roped in for fiction shows after Bigg Boss are just rumours. This is just done to promote contestants and create hype around them. At the end of the day, it is about their game. Sumbul has earned positive responses from the audience and I am only focussed on her game in the show right now,” Touqeer added.
Interestingly, while Ekta has signed Nimrit for her upcoming film Love, Sex aur Dhoka 2, Shalin Bhanot has bagged an upcoming show that has a Beauty and Beast plot. On the other hand, Shiv Thakare will reportedly be seen in Rohit Shetty’s popular stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Tina Datta is reportedly making her Telugu film debut after the show.
